Job Summary
Deliver comprehensive, holistic nursing care to patients through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation in the operating room. Exercise professional autonomy by making informed clinical decisions and delegating aspects of care to other nursing personnel based on licensure and preparation. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to assess concerns, identify issues, and integrate subjective and objective data while developing tailored care plans and continuously evaluating patient outcomes. Requires current nursing licensure, BCLS certification, two years of OR experience, and a BSN or ADN degree. Full-time 0.8 FTE role with day/night rotation, weekends, and holidays, including potential hiring incentives for ADN or BSN candidates.
Required Qualifications
- BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing
- Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month
- Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Two years experience as an RN in an operating room
- Must be available for weekends
- Must be available for holidays
- Must be able to work day/night rotations
- Must be able to work call obligations
- Must be able to lift (implied by nursing care duties and delegation of care to personnel based on licensure)
- Must be able to verify legal right to work in the United States
- Must pass health screening and immunization review
- Must pass background checks including criminal and urine drug screen
- Must pass MVR where required
