Provide high-quality patient care in the surgical setting at the Level 1 Trauma Center, working collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals. Consistently set and evaluate priorities through appropriate interventions with measurable outcomes toward improvement while individualizing the plan of care to address specific patient needs. Supervise and direct the delegation of tasks to appropriate team members, reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments and medical errors. Maintain safety in practice by utilizing evidence-based principles and advancing knowledge of the patient care team through communication with resource persons. Work night shifts from 9:00pm to 7:30am for 40 hours per week, including weekends, holidays, and on-call assignments.
