Provide high-quality patient care in the surgical setting at the Level 1 Trauma Center Main Operating Room, working collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals. Supervise and direct delegation of tasks to appropriate team members while consistently setting and evaluating priorities through appropriate interventions. Report identified safety issues such as hazardous environments and medical errors, and utilize the nursing process to individualize the plan of care for specific patient needs. Maintain awareness of ethical standards and evidence-based practice principles to assure safety in practice. Night shift, 40 hours per week, 9:00pm – 7:30am, with weekends, holidays, and on-call as assigned.
