RN - Operating Room

RN - Operating Room provides specialized nursing care for surgical patients in the OR. Responsible for initial patient assessment, developing and implementing the plan of care, documenting care, and evaluating patient progress. Maintains safety for patients and staff, communicates with the healthcare team, supports the surgical team during procedures, prepares the OR with supplies and equipment, positions and preps patients, conducts timeouts, facilitates handoff to the PACU, and ensures appropriate patient care documentation and continuous quality improvement.
