Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle while coordinating patient care activities to maintain standards of practice. Function within the organization's policies and procedures to demonstrate professional growth and accountability. This role supports exceptional patient outcomes at Piedmont Augusta Hospital with schedule flexibility. Current RN licensure in Georgia or NLC/eNLC multistate license is required, along with BCLS certification. ACLS certification is required within 180 days for Cardiac Tele, Critical Care, and other specialties. New graduates are eligible.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing
- No experience required New Graduates of a nursing program eligible
- RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
- ACLS Certification
- CDN (Certified Dialysis Certificate)
- ACLS and PALS Certification
- Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification
- PALS Certification
- PreOp/PACU/ENDO/CSU – ACLS
- BLS
- Labor and Delivery-ACLS Certification
- NRP
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Program
- NAT (Newborn Admission Team)- NRP
- Nursery- NRP
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting
- 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions
- Advanced certification in field of specialty
- Nurse Residents or nurses new to specialty will complete applicable certifications within 6 months of start date
- Experienced Emergency Department nurses will have 6 months to obtain the PALS certification
- Nurse Residents or nurses new to specialty will complete applicable certifications within 6 months of start date within 180 Days
- Prior to independent chemotherapy administration
