RN - Oncology (Rotational) Jefferson

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for adult oncology patients on an 18-bed telemetry-monitored unit, including those with electrolyte imbalances, diabetes, sepsis, and pre/post-operative conditions. Assign or delegate tasks based on patient needs and staff skill levels, while supervising LPNs and evaluating their scope of practice. Lead interdisciplinary teams to evaluate clinical care, promote patient safety initiatives, and participate in department-specific quality and evidence-based practice projects. Provide verbal and written feedback to peers, resolve patient and family concerns, and document interventions according to physician orders and hospital policy. Maintain continuous lifelong learning through professional organizations and research to advance clinical skills.
