Job Summary
Independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders, established guidelines, and the Georgia Nurse Practice Act. Maintain licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia in good standing, hold Basic Cardiac Life Support certification, and possess a BSN with two years of RN experience. Work the 7P-7A shift with weekend requirements at Northside Hospital, an award-winning facility expanding quality and reach of care in Atlanta.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations
- Must hold Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)
- 7P-7A
- Weekend Requirements: Yes
Desired Qualifications
- BSN degree
- Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN)
- Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units
- Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units
