Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for medical oncology, surgical oncology, comfort care, and inpatient hospice patients from admission to discharge. Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy while educating patients and their support systems. Coordinate patient care activities for assigned staff and maintain standards of practice within organizational policies. Work nights from 7pm to 7am as a full-time staff nurse at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing
- No experience required New Graduates of a nursing program eligible
- RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting
- 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions
