Job Summary
Utilize the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process to provide patient care for assigned patients in oncology or neurology settings. Coordinate care with other departments while maintaining professional accountability and patient confidentiality. Obtain and maintain a current RN license within the hiring state or compact licensure area. This part-time weekend role requires Basic Life Support certification and the ability to lift 50 lbs, stand, and walk during shifts. Required Qualifications
- Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
