Job Summary
Provide patient care in oncology or neurology units using the nursing process, maintaining accountability for assigned patients and coordinating care across departments. Administer chemotherapy, manage cancer care, and oversee radiation therapy coordination while addressing symptom management needs. Maintain patient rights and confidentiality in alignment with Mercy Service Standards. Requires current RN licensure, ACLS certification, and BLS within 30 days of hire. Full-time nights shift with comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, PTO, and tuition reimbursement available.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
