RN Oncology/Neurology Full-time Nights (New Graduate Nurses Welcome to Apply)

Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care in Oncology/Neurology, maintaining professional accountability for assigned patients. Coordinate patient care with other departments while evaluating the overall effectiveness of care provided by direct care givers. Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information consistent with Mercy Service Standards. This full-time nights role requires obtaining and maintaining a current RN license, ACLS certification, and BLS certification. Candidates must be able to lift 50 pounds, stand, and walk for prolonged periods. New graduate nurses are welcome to apply for sign-on bonuses and tuition assistance.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Meeting all state board of nursing requirements
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
