RN- Oncology Med-surg PRN (must have oncology experience).

Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. Use standards of medical-surgical nursing practice to increase quality of care and life for patients, families, and significant others. Establish effective relationships and serve as an advocate to facilitate unique care plans. Utilize the nursing process to develop, implement, and evaluate plans of care based on physical, functional, cultural, social, economic, developmental, spiritual, vocational, and leisure dimensions. Coordinate and collaborate with patients, families, and the inter-professional team to assess needs, set goals, and plan interventions. Educate patients and families on measures that promote, maintain, and restore health or comfort. Foster a healthy work environment by serving as a mentor and role model. Apply evidence-based practice to ensure care is delivered based on patient age-specific and clinical needs. Maintain a constant state of alertness and safe manner while performing point of care testing as assigned.
