RN Oncology ICU

RN Oncology ICU role coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care within an ICU oncology setting. The RN collaborates with medical providers and multidisciplinary team members to provide individualized, comprehensive care using established nursing models (Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage). Responsibilities include patient/family education on condition, treatment plan, medications and possible side effects; documentation of care; alignment with quality measures; and ongoing advocacy for patients. Requires graduation from an accredited School of Professional Nursing; BSN within 24 months of hire if hired after 6/1/12; minimum one year of experience; experience with high-acuity ICU medical/surgical patients preferred.
