Job Summary
RN Oncology ICU position requiring coordination and delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care in an ICU setting. Responsibilities include performing procedures and documenting care per medical provider orders; teaching patients, families, and caregivers about conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up measures; translating complex medical terminology for understanding; participating in quality initiatives and evidence-based practices; collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and adjust holistic care plans to support recovery and outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing
- If hired after 6/1/12, BSN required within 24 months of hire into RN position
- Minimum of one-year experience required
- Experience with high acuity ICU medical/surgical patients is preferred
