Job Summary
Assess patient needs, develop individualized care plans, and evaluate progress toward expected outcomes. Administer medications, treatments, and patient safety protocols while documenting care in a consistent manner meeting regulatory standards. Collaborate with medical staff and interdisciplinary teams to plan unit management, delegate tasks to appropriate team members, and serve as a preceptor, charge nurse, or educator. Prioritize patient care using Evidence-Based Practice Standards and advocate for patients and families within a 24-bed oncology unit. Maintain compliance with Orlando Health policies and attend regularly.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing
- Current State of Alabama RN license or valid eNLC multistate RN license
- Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification
- ACLS certification
- NRP certification
- PALS certification
- TNCC certification
