Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for oncology patients across all age groups to achieve optimal outcomes. Administer treatments and medications accurately while documenting care in electronic medical records. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and adjust individualized care plans, addressing patient and family education needs. Participate in performance improvement initiatives and advocate for patient rights and psychosocial needs. Supports orientation and training of new employees while maintaining confidentiality and complying with regulatory standards. Requires current Virginia RN licensure, AHA BLS-HCP certification, and evening/night shift flexibility.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a State Board of Nursing approved program
- Current Registered Nurse license in the Commonwealth of Virginia
- Eligibility to obtain licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia
- AHA BLS-HCP certification
- Keyboarding skills
- Computer literacy including use of electronic medical records

- PALS certification
- NRP certification
