Job Summary
Manage nursing care for patients receiving chemotherapy or biologic therapy, including assessment of venous access devices, drawing labs prior to administration, and processing prescription refills. Evaluate patient care needs, suggest solutions to complaints, and coordinate teaching plans to address family learning requirements. Provide psychosocial support, telephone triage, and orientation to the infusion process while communicating concerns to department supervisors. Demonstrate effective charting and inter-departmental communication as a liaison between patients, physicians, and other care teams.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing program (RN or BSN)
- Current Washington State licensure
- 1+ years of current clinical experience in Oncology setting
- Candidates are required to pass a drug test before beginning employment

- ONS Biotherapy & Chemotherapy Provider Card Oncology Nursing Certification
