Job Summary
Conduct circulating and scrubbing duties in the operating room, positioning and transferring patients while documenting care outcomes. Coordinate inter-operative nursing activities with ASC professionals to ensure continuity of population-based care. Monitor patient safety, maintain equipment according to manufacturer instructions, and participate in monthly quality assurance programs. Requires two years of RN experience in acute or ambulatory care, including specific circulating and scrubbing background. Variable day off schedule applies.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum two (2) years of RN experience in acute care or ambulatory care/clinic setting within the last five (5) years.
- 2 years of experience circulating in inpatient or ambulatory surgery setting within the past 5 years.
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
- Registered Nurse License (Oregon)
- Basic Life Support
Desired Qualifications
- Specialty experience within the last three (3) years.
- 3-5 years of O.R. circulating and scrubbing experience.
- CNOR
- ACLS
- Pre-op area skills.
- IV start skills.
- 2 years of experience circulating in inpatient or ambulatory surgery setting within the past 3 years.
