RN- OLGO Rehab - full time, nights. Acts as a leader in the provision of patient care using the nursing process within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses and Scope & Standards of Practice. Effectively delegates, directs and assists licensed and ancillary team members; assumes accountability for quality patient outcomes; demonstrates professional responsibility and accountability for own practice; supports the company's philosophy of nursing. Responsibilities include delivering patient care, assessing learning needs, teaching diverse patients and families, coordinating care with the interdisciplinary team, using data to evaluate and promote change, and maintaining compliance with applicable laws and standards. Requires RN license in state of practice and BLS certification; education may be diploma or higher in nursing; hospital-based, full-time night shift at Ochsner Health in Lafayette, LA area.
