RN Occupational Health Nurse Boeing - PRN 1st Shift

Job Summary
Treat and stabilize occupational injuries, conduct vital signs and blood glucose exams, and coordinate medical emergencies with onsite Security. Maintain current BLS/CPR and AED certification while completing OSHA 101 first reports of injury in the dedicated MIS system. Process insurance claims, file and maintain medical records, and perform Titmus vision, hearing, and drug testing exams. Conduct accident investigations to assist EHS, schedule surveillance exams for employees, and apply Boeing medical policies and procedures. Provide on-site emergency response and assistance to Boeing employees at the Jetplex Medical Clinic.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited School or University
- Current Alabama or Multistate Nursing license
- Valid Alabama driver license
- BLS/CPR and AED Certification
- Minimum of two years clinical experience
- Occupational health experience
- Knowledge of workers compensation
- Excellent communication and training skills
- Proficiency in use of computer, to include email and Microsoft business software
- Competence in writing, preparing and giving presentations
- Familiarity with Alabama workers compensation laws
