Job Summary
RN – Occupational Health provides direct clinical nursing care to hospital staff at the Indian River Occupational Health clinic, supports return-to-work and workers’ compensation processes, conducts screenings and immunizations (TB testing, vaccinations, venipuncture, spirometry, audiometry, respiratory fit testing), ensures compliance with Joint Commission, OSHA, BWC, and other regulatory standards, coordinates and tracks compliance programs, and supports clinical operations and leadership with scheduling and education; opportunities to earn national certification as an Occupational Health RN and to participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
- Two years of clinical experience
- Preferred qualifications: Two years of employee health experience, training in COC urine specimen collection, breath alcohol testing, audiology, spirometry and venipuncture skills
