Job Summary
Delivers coordinated nursing care for acute obstetrics patients, supervising assigned staff and coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams. Collects health data, analyzes assessments to determine diagnoses, and implements care plans while evaluating progress toward outcomes. Collaborates with patients, families, and providers to ensure a safe, healing environment, provides learning opportunities, and participates in discharge planning for continuity. Delegates duties appropriately and performs other job-related tasks as assigned. Requires BSN, RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE, and INTFETAL certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- S.T.A.B.L.E Certification (STABLE)
- INTERMEDIATE FETAL MONITORING (INTFETAL)
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable
- Acknowledgement of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Acute care facility experience
