Job Summary
Coordinate nursing care for assigned patients in the obstetrics unit, implementing the nursing process to assess, diagnose, and develop care plans. Collect relevant health data, analyze findings, and execute interventions while collaborating with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure a safe environment. Direct activities of nursing staff, delegate duties appropriately, and participate in discharge planning to maintain continuity of care. Provide learning opportunities for patients and team members throughout the shift.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS
- S.T.A.B.L.E Certification (STABLE)
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS
- Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable
- Acknowledgement of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Acute care facility experience
