Job Summary
Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients in the obstetrics acute unit, supervising nursing staff and coordinating care with other disciplines. Collects and analyzes assessment data to determine diagnoses and care issues, developing and implementing intervention plans to promote health and safety. Collaborates with patients, families, and the healthcare team to provide a safe, healing environment, while participating in discharge planning for continuity of care. Delegates duties appropriately to healthcare team members and performs other job-related tasks as assigned. Requires BSN, RN licensure, and certifications including AHA-NRP, STABLE, ACLS, and Fetal Heart Monitoring. Full-time day shift position with E-Verify participation.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS
- S.T.A.B.L.E Certification (STABLE)
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS
- Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable
- Acknowledgement of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Acute care facility experience
