Job Summary
Deliver safe and compassionate nursing care for all patient populations by planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care. Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other clinical team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care. Maintain knowledge of EKG interpretation and NIHSS Stroke Scale certification while providing surgical care experience for ortho and gen-surg populations. Work full-time 36 hours weekly from 7pm to 7am, with every third weekend off and rotating holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree or higher in Nursing
- Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
- Current CPR Certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Knowledge base of EKG interpretation
- NIHSS Stroke Scale certification
- If Associate Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, must graduate with a Bachelor?s Degree in Nursing within five years of position start date
- RN Diploma Nurse if position start date is prior to September 1, 2021
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor?s Degree or higher in Nursing
- Surgical care experience (ortho and gen-surg)
- ACLS certification
- 1 year of inpatient nursing experience
