Job Summary
Assess, plan, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to established standards of care. Provide holistic patient-centered care while acting as an educator to peers, patients, and families. Maintain adequate supplies and operate equipment as needed, performing ongoing reassessments to meet changing patient needs. Requires clear, active RN licensure in Florida, BLS, and ACLS certifications, with CCRN preferred and at least one year of critical care experience. Full-time night shift position at Jupiter Medical Center, ranked #1 for safety and quality in Palm Beach County.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Clear / Active RN licensure in the state of Florida
- BLS Certification American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers
- ACLS American Heart Association
- NIHSS Certification
- At least 1 Year of Critical Care experience (Step down or Tele)
- Annual Joint Commission mandatory education requirements
- In-service requirements
- Health requirements
- Attendance at new employee orientation
- TB/PPD Surveillance Program
- Maintenance of required professional licensing and/or certification(s)
