Job Summary
Manage patients requiring active and focused management during an expected length of stay between 8 and 48 hours on a 24-bed rapid-paced medical and surgical unit. Provide care for conditions including chest pain, CHF, TIA, and specific surgical patients using evidence-based, diagnosis-specific protocols. Maintain a highly educated registered nursing staff while practicing in an environment that supports holistic, patient-focused services from admission to discharge.
Required Qualifications
- RN with Valid NC RN License or Compact State RN License
- Experience
- BLS
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree within five (5) years of their employment date
