Job Summary
RN - OBGYN responsible for assisting the physician and staff with daily coordination of patient care, serving as liaison between patients, staff and physicians, maintaining efficient patient flow, delivering direct patient care within scope of licensure, collecting lab specimens, labeling specimens, prioritizing care, preparing for visits and providing pertinent information for patient visits, documenting in EHR/PMS, administering injections, conducting triage per protocols, scheduling appointments, adhering to safety precautions, maintaining medication lists and allergies in records, and facilitating transitions of care across sites. Requires an Associate degree, NY Nursing License and BLS, with 0–1 years of experience (2–4 preferred); strong English communication, interpersonal and organizational skills; experience with EHR and Practice Management systems.
