Job Summary
Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered obstetrics, labor, and delivery care in accordance with clinical protocols and the nursing process. Conduct thorough patient assessments, administer prescribed medications, and monitor for side effects while documenting findings accurately. Assist physicians during procedures, interpret fetal heart rate patterns, and provide pain management techniques during labor. Monitor mothers and newborns post-delivery, assess recovery from hemorrhage or complications, and educate families on postpartum care and breastfeeding. Respond to medical emergencies, participate in code team activities, and adhere to infection control protocols to ensure patient safety. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans and engage in performance improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting
- RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
- Authorization to work in the U.S. for any employer

- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation
