Job Summary
Respond immediately to residents' requests and supervise nursing care services and staff on all units while on duty. Actively promote facility safety programs and may assume responsibility as the Infection Preventionist Nurse. Assume responsibility for nursing services in the absence of the Assistant Director of Nursing Services and/or Director of Nursing Services. Provide personal and compassionate care in a supportive team environment with regular interaction with residents, families, and co-workers. Evening shifts (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM) require weekend rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Possession of a state license in applicable state you are performing work and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse
- Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience
- At least one (1) year of experience in a nursing leadership role
- Current BLS/CPR
- Interest or experience in geriatrics
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level

- Experience with dementia population
