Job Summary
Provide visible shift leadership across nursing units, conducting daily rounds to monitor care delivery, documentation, and team performance. Supervise RNs, LPNs, and nursing support staff while serving as a clinical resource for complex pediatric cases involving ventilators and specialized equipment. Mentor staff, assist with performance management, and ensure compliance with state, federal, and regulatory standards through documentation reviews and survey participation. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to support individualized care plans for medically fragile children.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Pennsylvania
- Minimum two (2) years of nursing experience
- At least one (1) year of nursing leadership experience
- Pediatric, hospital, or long-term care nursing experience
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in nursing education or in-service training
