Job Summary
RN Nursing Supervisor oversees nursing staff, delegates care, and provides personal nursing care for residents while leading and supervising the nursing team to ensure high-quality resident care. Responsibilities include ensuring adequate staffing levels, orienting and training new employees, developing shift assignments, communicating with nursing staff and ancillary departments, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures, monitoring performance, maintaining accurate resident documentation in the EHR, participating in care planning, and providing professional nursing care and leadership to the team. Requires active RN license in Ohio and a nursing degree; prior long-term care and supervisory/management experience preferred. Night shift from 7 pm–7 am.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a current license as an RN in the state where the center is located
- Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing degree from an accredited college or university and be a graduate of an approved RN Program
- Must have previous long term care experience
- Previous supervisory/management experience required
