Job Summary
RN Nursing Supervisor oversees evening shift; delegates, supervises, and provides personal nursing care for residents while providing leadership to nursing staff. Responsible for staffing levels, orientation/training of new employees, developing shift assignments, coordinating with ancillary departments, ensuring adherence to policies, maintaining accurate documentation in the EHR, and delivering high-quality resident care. Leads a team, conducts performance evaluations, maintains safety and infection control standards, and participates in training and ongoing professional development to maintain licensure and enhance care quality.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a current license as an RN in the state where the center is located
- Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing degree from an accredited college or university and be a graduate of an approved RN Program
- Must have previous long term care experience
- Previous supervisory/management experience required
