RN - Nursing Manager- (NICU)

Job Summary
Conduct daily unit rounds, coordinate staff activities, and lead the NICU team to ensure safe, complication-free patient care. Direct nursing personnel, manage overtime, and complete monthly scheduling while collaborating with physicians and charge nurses to optimize clinical operations. Establish care standards, monitor critical outcomes through data audits, and resolve operational or patient care issues as they arise. Conduct emergency preparedness reviews and work with facility services to maintain equipment safety. Set goals for patient safety and satisfaction, coordinate team conferences to revise care plans, and identify educational needs for staff.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing
- Two years' experience of acute care nursing in hospital setting
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- National specialty certification in area of expertise or in nursing administration
- Facility Specific License/Certifications
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment
