Job Summary
Conduct thorough assessments of patient or resident health status, including physical, mental, and emotional health. Develop individualized care plans based on patient needs, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care. Safely administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to physician orders, facility policies, and regulatory guidelines. Perform clinical procedures such as wound care, IV therapy, and respiratory treatments while providing patient and family education. Maintain accurate documentation of all patient care activities in the electronic health record and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Respond promptly to medical emergencies, providing life-saving interventions as necessary. Requires an active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license and a Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Nursing.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing)
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Strong clinical and assessment skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective care plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
- Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team and collaborate with other healthcare professionals
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and nursing documentation
- Knowledge of nursing best practices, medications, and safety protocols
