Job Summary
RN provides patient-centered care through the nursing process in the Nursery/OB setting, coordinating and delivering high-quality care per physician orders and organizational protocols. Responsibilities include administering medications, assisting during procedures (including obstetric labor and delivery activities and epidurals), monitoring fetal well-being with electronic fetal monitoring, and responding to emergencies. The role involves educating patients and families, maintaining infection control and safety standards, operating medical equipment (IV pumps, monitors, ventilators), participating in audits and performance improvement, and ensuring thorough documentation. Night-shift, full-time position in Durant, OK with sign-on bonus eligibility and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required
- RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure required
- BCLS - Basic Life Support required
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation preferred
