Job Summary
Conduct detailed newborn assessments, monitor for complications, and administer medications and treatments for infants in the hospital nursery. Assist with deliveries and immediate post-birth care while educating and supporting parents on newborn care and breastfeeding. Document thoroughly in the EMR and collaborate closely with physicians, midwives, and lactation consultants. Provide expert, family-centered care for newborns during night shifts within UCHealth's advanced, academic health system.
