RN Nurse Supervisor - RNC - Weekends (UTICA, NY)

RN Nurse Supervisor leading the nursing team in a skilled nursing setting; provides direct resident care and supervises CNAs and LPNs, ensures continuity of care across shifts, participates in resident and family teaching, and administers medications while reducing care errors. Responsibilities include admission/readmission assessments, documentation, notifying physicians of changes, conducting handoffs, pain assessment and management, implementing the Plan of Care with the interdisciplinary team, staffing reviews and ensuring adequate coverage, and leading the nursing department to promote teamwork and patient safety. Requires NYS RN licensure (BSN preferred) and prior medical/surgical or nursing-home experience with supervisory responsibility; weekend shift option with 0.75 FTE.
