Job Summary
RN Nurse Supervisor Med Surg Diabetic Endo unit overseeing clinical nursing coordination and leadership to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. Responsibilities include admissions/discharges coordination, quality monitoring and collaboration with management to drive nursing initiatives, staffing decisions, staff development, performance evaluations, and ensuring compliance with policies. Role emphasizes coordinating with the management team, implementing nursing strategies (e.g., rounding initiatives), and supporting operational staffing, inventory, and resource management for optimal patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree required, Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Currently licensed as an RN in the State of TX and/or has an active compact license
- Basic Cardiac Life Support, BLS, issued by the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association required at hire
- 1+ years recent acute care experience in preferred unit required
- Supervisory/Charge experience preferred
