Job Summary
RN Nurse Supervisor Med Surg Diabetic Endo role at Medical City Dallas. Full-time day shift (7:00am–7:00pm) with rotating weekends. Oversees nursing care in the Med/Surg Diabetic Endo unit, directing staff and coordinating patient-centered care, admission/discharge processes, and quality initiatives. Partners with management to foster teamwork, supports interviewing, hiring, training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions; manages staff scheduling, labor, and inventory; emphasizes governance of policies and clinical outcomes to elevate patient care. Requires Associate's Degree (Bachelor's preferred), Texas RN license or active compact license, BLS, and 1+ years of acute care experience; supervisory experience preferred. Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree required
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Currently licensed as an RN in the State of TX and/or has an active compact license
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association
- 1+ years recent acute care experience in preferred unit
- Supervisory/Charge experience preferred
