Job Summary
RN Nurse Supervisor Med Surg Diabetic Endo oversees patient-centered nursing care on the Med/Surg Diabetic Endo unit, directs and coordinates staff performance, participates in admissions/discharges, supports nursing strategy and employee development, and ensures adherence to policies while maintaining throughput and high-quality outcomes. Responsibilities include assisting with admissions/discharges, quality assessment, collaboration with management, staff training and development, interviewing and hiring recommendations, staff scheduling, and inventory management. Requires RN license in TX (or compact), BLS, and 1+ year acute care experience; supervisory/charge experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree required
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Currently licensed as an RN in the State of TX and/or has an active compact license
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) required at hire
- 1+ years recent acute care experience (preferred unit)
- Supervisory/Charge experience preferred
