Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for acute care patients in the 20-bed Nurse Residency Unit, serving seven med/surg units. Coordinate patient care activities for assigned staff while maintaining standards of practice within organizational policies. Provide high-quality nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle under the supervision of experienced preceptors and leadership. Work nights from 7pm to 7am as part of a part-time weekend cohort for new graduate nurses.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a nursing program
- New Graduates of a nursing program eligible
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
- BLS certification
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced certification in field of specialty
- Bachelor's degree
- Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting
