Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients across birth through the lifecycle within the 20-bed Nurse Residency Unit. Coordinate patient care activities for assigned staff and maintain standards of practice while supporting new graduate nurses transitioning from orientation to their home units. Functions within organizational policies and procedures, providing high-quality acute care in the Main Tower. Schedule includes weekend option days from 7am to 7pm. Requires current Georgia RN licensure or NLC/eNLC multistate license, BCLS certification, and a Bachelor's degree preferred. Sign-on bonus available.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing
- RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting
- 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions
- Advanced certification in field of specialty
