Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for acute care patients across the 20-bed Nurse Residency Unit, serving as a preceptor for new graduate nurses completing their orientation. Coordinate patient care activities for all assigned staff while maintaining standards of practice within organizational policies. Provide high-quality care to patients from birth through the lifecycle in the state-of-the-art Main Tower. Part-time nights shift from 7am to 7pm. Sign-on bonus available.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing
- New Graduates of a nursing program eligible
- RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
- ACLS Certification
- NRP by the end of orientation period
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Program within 12 months of start date
- Labor and Delivery-ACLS Certification
- NICU- NRP by the end of orientation period
- NAT (Newborn Admission Team)- NRP by the end of orientation period
- Nursery- NRP by the end of orientation period
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting
- 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions
- Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable
- CDN (Certified Dialysis Certificate)
- PALS Certification
- Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification
- PreOp/PACU/ENDO/CSU - ACLS
- BLS required only
- PEARS Certification
- Mother/Baby- NRP by the end of orientation period
