Job Summary
Manage 24-hour delivery of nursing care to patients recovering from neurological events and complex conditions in the Surgical ICU, creating a professional practice environment aligned with Medical Center goals. Implement elements of the Nursing Strategic Plan while ensuring high levels of coworker engagement, patient satisfaction, safe clinical outcomes, and financial performance. Lead a specialized team through rounding, open communication, and shared accountability, applying sound principles of management and supervision to maximize resource utilization. Requires a current RN license, three years of critical care experience, and proficiency in analyzing complex data from information systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- current RN Temporary Permit/RN license in the state of practice
- minimum of three years Critical Care clinical experience
- demonstrated leadership ability
- good interpersonal skills
- ability to apply sound principles of management and supervision
- proficiency in use of a personal computer
- ability to analyze complex data from various information systems
Desired Qualifications
- BSN preferred
- Master's degree preferred
