Job Summary
Manage all aspects of the unit's operation on a 24/7 basis, leading clinical practice, evidence-based care, and human resource management. Develop and oversee budgets, ensure environmental standards, and maintain regulatory compliance. Supervise registered nurses, surgical technicians, licensed practical nurses, and support staff across the 772-bed acute care facility. This role reports to the Chief Nursing Officer and integrates the system's mission and strategic plan within North Florida and South Georgia.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Nursing
- Two (2) years of job-related leadership experience
- Licensed as a registered nurse (RN) in accordance with Florida Statutes (FS), Title XXXII (Regulation of Professions and Occupations), Chapter 464 (Nursing), Part I (Nurse Practice Act) [includes multistate compact licensure]
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Strongly Preferred)
- Five (5) years of job-related leadership experience
- Administrative practice or clinical specialty certification
