Job Summary
Manage clinical, operational, and financial activities within the maternity department, ensuring timely patient access, fiscal integrity, and regulatory compliance with Joint Commission and OSHA standards. Provide 24/7 oversight of patient flow, admissions, transfers, and discharges while conducting rounds to uphold safety and foster team engagement. Oversee annual operating and staffing budgets, align staffing levels with patient acuity and volume targets, and lead performance management through evaluations, recruitment, and disciplinary practices. Cultivate a collaborative culture by facilitating daily huddles, promoting professional development, and supporting the organization's Magnet journey. Serve as the department's community representative to advance organizational goals.
