RN Nurse Manager

Coordinate and oversee resident care across units, ensuring consistent, compassionate service and timely communication with nursing leadership. Respond calmly to critical situations, offering clinical guidance during medical or behavioral crises, and step in to assist with medications, treatments, IV administration, and direct care tasks. Enforce infection control protocols, complete AIMS testing biannually, and lead physician rounds to transcribe and implement orders. Mentor nursing staff through real-time coaching, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions while managing call-offs and staffing gaps. Serve as administrative authority during shifts, addressing grievances, and direct emergency responses for drills involving severe weather, fires, or elopements. Maintain optimal staffing levels, ensure survey readiness, and contribute to policy development and staff training.
