RN - Nurse Lead Step Down Unit, Part Time, Night Shift

Lead unit-based clinical services and supervise nursing and ancillary personnel on the Step Down Unit. Initiate and coordinate team conferences to revise care plans, make rounds to assess patient needs, and solicit feedback to improve quality of care and patient satisfaction. Manage staffing requirements by assigning personnel based on patient acuity, arranging relief for meals and breaks, and evaluating employee performance through coaching and disciplinary actions. Ensure compliance with Joint Commission safety goals, participate in Performance Improvement Teams, and recommend policy changes to optimize operations and reduce costs. Maintain equipment functionality and department cleanliness while documenting unit activities and incidents for the Director.
