RN - Nurse Lead Step Down Unit, Part Time, Night Shift

Lead unit-based clinical services and supervise nursing staff on the Step Down Unit, directing personnel in patient care activities and managing staffing assignments based on acuity. Initiate team conferences to revise care plans, make rounds to assess patient needs, and solicit feedback to improve quality of care and customer satisfaction. Ensure compliance with Joint Commission safety goals, participate in performance improvement teams, and investigate operational issues. Manage staff performance through coaching and discipline, handle hiring and termination decisions, and maintain equipment and department cleanliness. Collaborate with the Nurse Manager to develop policies and strategies that enhance patient outcomes and staff development.
